What We Believe
At Paris Community Church, everything we do is centered on Jesus and shaped by God’s Word.
Here’s what we believe and how it shapes the way we live.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God — which points us to Jesus and into a loving and growing relationship with Him.
God
We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the Creator of all things and the source of life, love, and truth.
Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ is the only way to God.
He was crucified, died, and rose again so that we could be forgiven and restored to God.
We seek to live every part of our lives with Him as our Lord and Savior.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s presence living in us — guiding, convicting, empowering, and encouraging us in every part of life.
Sin and Forgiveness
We believe sin is real — it separates us from God and from one another.
But through Jesus’ death and resurrection, all who put their faith in Him are forgiven, made new, and brought into right relationship with God.
The Church
We believe the Church is made up of people who follow Jesus together.
We gather regularly to worship and celebrate what God is doing among us, and we scatter to serve others and share His love in our community and beyond.
Life
We believe Jesus meant it when He said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10).
So we seek to live every part of life — big and small — with Him and for Him.
